Vancouver Tours for Seniors chooses Hidden Grove
Over 2 days 3 bus loads turned up from Vancouver - each with about 22 people plus driver.
Mostly over 60 years of age. Oldest was around 83
Their arrival was unannounced and a surprise. Lou Janke and Mike Sutcliffe - 2 of our hard working Trailbuilders were on hand to assist in showing them about. The groups visitors were broken into 2 groups.
Those that were most fit in one group and the other for those with accessibility issues of any kind. Able bodied went with Mike up over top past Sunny's bench.
Lou took the less able up Take It Easy to the end. They loved the fact we had a trail that was so accessible.
They were given running commentary on all aspects from community involvement, trail building, trees, mosses, mushrooms, rhodos, wildlife, and Donald Trump.
The driver indicated that this was a new tour effort and that the Groves were perfect for it so expect many more next season.
